Rolling by Clean Spill

Santa Barbara-based indie garage rock band Clean Spill have released the video for their track “Rolling,” which will appear on their upcoming EP, Nothing’s On My Mind, due out this summer.

In an interview, Clean Spill told Consequence of Sound: “This song is the essence of Clean Spill, a happy song with sad lyrics that emulates the paradox of our band name. If all the lyrics were happy, the song would be cheesy.” “‘Rolling’ is a surfy, melodramatic breakup song,” adding, “This song masks the heartbreak and feelings of loneliness with lighthearted guitar and an uptempo surf beat.”

This is just the kind of song you’d expect to hear mid-summer, it’s ready for radio play, and I predict big things for these guys. Give the video a look, and be sure to let us know what you think in the comments below!
