A Friend Named Paul by Varsity

We are thrilled to bring to you the newest video from Chicago-based garage-pop band Varsity called “A Friend Named Paul,” which appears on their sophomore release titled Parallel Person

The band has this to say about the video:

“Our extremely talented friends and directors Mark Pallman and Amanda Speva took our tiny nugget of an idea and expanded it beyond anything we could’ve dreamed up ourselves. They were able to capture the tone and the vibe of both the song and the idea that had been swimming around in our heads. Playful, yet serious. Bright, but with an underlying sense of discomfort. We couldn’t be more happy with the way the video turned out, and have also picked up some new dance moves from our favorite group of synchronized seniors.”

Give the new video a look, and be sure to let us know what you think in the comments below!
